I had severe problems earlier when I tried to read files containing non-usa characters. I had to rename the movies to be able to see them in a media player, otherwise it didnt work. To me this is really bad. If I dump my Windows files on OpenSolaris and CIFS, I dont want to spend time renaming all files.
This is really annoying, and in my opinion this is a Change Request.
