For those interested, here are the four steps to nirvana (assuming your OpenSolaris system has joined AD domain): # zfs create –o casesensitivy=mixed mypool/cifs1 # chmod 777 /mypool/cifs1 # zfs sharesmb=on mypool/cifs1 # zfs sharesmb=abe=true mypool/cifs1 Now, map this network folder from your WIndows box. You can now create folders, set permissions, etc. all from standard file property GUI. Just wonderful. Thank you once again for your help.
