Although I have not yet understood the cause, I am getting crashes when I switch the Format in Settings from RGBA-8bit to RGB-8bit when I have a couple of plugins in my project. Still working to find if cause is changes to cache.C or whatever else I have installed the patches for. Stay tuned.
