Hey all,

after playing with the chroma keyer in cinelerra, I wasn't too happy.

Then I saw this (Avid's new chroma keyer):
http://www.avid.com/video/SymphonyNitris_tour/index.asp?currVideo=3
and I told myself that it would be cool to have a similar plugin for
Cinelerra.

So I completely modified the chromakey plugin to be much more finegrained
You can find the plugin/chromakey directory there:
http://jcornet.free.fr/linux/download/cinelerra/chromakey-20060218.tgz

The tuning or the keyed-out colors is expressed in terms of Hue
Saturation and Value, so it makes everything easier (the tolerance is
the tolerance for the Hue, etc).

I've also added a spill light elimination piece to it.

Anyway, I recommend you watch the video on Avid's site, then play with
the plugin. Things should be more understandable that way.

If anybody uses Cinelerra's chromakey plugin, I suggest you try this one
out and give me some feedback. If you need help or binaries, I can
probably help out.

Cheers,
  Jerome
