I kind of miss the mentioning of Theora for internet distribution. It is
playable without glitches on any platform using VLC (Linuxa, Mac,
Windows). Beside Flash video, theora is probably the most internet-ready
solution thanks to Cortado java player applet.

We keep our whole archive in Theora format - http://video.kiberpipa.org
(everything processed with Cinelerra)
