Summary: OpenGL fails to render mask effect on still images
           Product: Cinelerra
           Version: 2.1
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Medium
         Component: Video Display
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

This bug seems to apply to a single still image, an image stretched over many
frames or an image list sequence. The mask shape does not show up in the
compositor when running on OpenGL driver. The mask controls, curves and lines
show up fine. The mask shapes show only when:
* the compositor loads the frame from the background render process,
* in rendered images, or
* when I select the X11-XV video driver.

To my mind this confirms this as an OpenGL problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Start with loading a still image:
1. turn off background rendering
2. select OpenGL driver
3. Create a video track.
4. Apply a mask. I used all the default settings (subtractive alpha) and
clicked several times on the compositor to create a shape. This should mean a
black shape appears on the compositor window.
5. Notice the mask has no effect.
6. Switch to the X11-XV driver and see the black shape appear.

Cinelerra CV SVN 1008
YUVA-8 bit

I have yet to test this on an image list in a mov or avi container. When I do
I will add those results to the bug.
