for me it did: > -ffast-math -funroll-loops -minline-all-stringops -fprefetch-loop-arrays brought up my playback performance on a plain simple track without any filters and transitions -- for HDV 1080i footage -- from 19fps to 23fps For me this was a big deal, because you can work with 23fps (full speed beeing 25fps for PAL). Strange enough, my new compile on Debian/Etch-level now even runs with 25fps -- I did't change anything :-) Cheers, Hermann -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGPgInZbZrB6HelLIRAuJjAKDu6T4BgX1ZEbMH7Zk/wDv7p0dtJwCgqPAo DXDKMRJGaksSHREBDNiSmOA= =SsNz -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Cinelerra mailing list [email protected] https://init.linpro.no/mailman/skolelinux.no/listinfo/cinelerra
