I installed it from a Mandriva .rpm which I located here: http://tinyurl.com/2o5plp I didn't make any attempt to satisfy dependencies, but, usually my package manager complains if things aren't met. I also have Cinelerra running on this system. Is it possible I may have unmet dependencies in this scenario? I'll check your page to see what's required, and compare it to what's installed. I guess I see OME as in the same ballpark as kdenlive, if anything, which is a nice basic video editor -- I don't know if that project is still under development.
