Hello I have debian lenny installed on my computer and cinelerra from the debian multimedia repos and to be quite frank it pretty rubbish with more than one HD video. So I thought I would try the heroine one and to be fair that faired pretty well. But as far as I could tell neither were using my intel 4core cpus to the max. So the question is, If i built cin from source would I get better performance or is cin with more than one hd video source crippled without going down the proxie route. On the other hand, should I persevere with the heroine version on ubuntu 8.04 (ie what heroine reccomend and provide binaries for).
