I have returned to try Cinelerra again and, this time, have installed
from source as per 'Grandma Tutorial' for 64 bit. Thanks Rafaella -

1/. 'Adjust Camera Automation' puts green cross box directly over image
but cannot be adjusted in any way by shift/click or click - or any other
means I can find.
Just to be sure:
Is your track the first armed track of the stack?
Have you tried moving the camera with the dialog? (open it it with the
"?" button)
Have you tried moving the camera with the curves? (visualize them on the
timeline from the "View" menu)
I noticed on some computer the camera reaction to my mouse actions is
*very* slow.
