Not a similar but close
When I was clipping the only way I found was to backup regularly saving the project was not enough. I lost them regularly in this case.
May be loading the back-up may do ? ... If backed up .
I was creating clips from the viewer then i tried from the time line that worked out better for savings in the clip folder. But backing up was necessary for me that worked. Ubuntu 9.10 at that time now on 10.10 with 2.1cv.
If that helps ...

Hi!

Today I had the unpleasant surprise of not being able to playback some of the clips (portions of my timeline) I saved yesterday in my Clip folder.

The clip name and duration are shown in the folder. But double clicking on the clip shows blank time in the Viewer. If pasted on the timeline I get only fade keyframes (wrong ones, I suspect).

Nevertheless in the XML I see the affected files are present, inside a <CLIP_EDL> tag.

Do you think I can hope to recover my (many night hours long) work?
Have you ever had similar problems?

Ciao
Raffaella
