Speaking for myself, I'm running Linux on bare metal. So surely I don't need anything of this.

But if I got it right, Wubi has nothing to do with virtualization. The user would still need to reboot the machine, and use it under Linux while editing films.


What I suggested was to run a virtual machine within Windows, which is just like running any application.


Anyhow, I'm not the one this could solve an issue for.
