Phil, Yes but only if this router is a route reflector.
As far as I know, JUNOS does not support old-style nor MDT SAFI format, so ASM would be the only option for interoperability. BTW, BGP MDT SAFI is supported in 12.2(33)SXH and 12.2(33)SRB but not SRA. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Phil Mayers Sent: Saturday, September 15, 2007 4:46 AM To: Harold Ritter (hritter) Cc: Harkins, Darren; [email protected] Subject: Re: [c-nsp] Draft Rosen M-VPN On Fri, Sep 14, 2007 at 02:51:39PM -0400, Harold Ritter (hritter) wrote: >Phil, > >Just a clarification. Yes sorry; obviously using ASM one can discover via the (*,g) flooding from the RP, and I did test this and it did indeed interoperate with Juniper (J-series and M7i) Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but as long as there's at lease one Cisco with both RD and MDT SAFI, it'll translate between them and again it'll all work. _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list [email protected] https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/ _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list [email protected] https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/
