In my experience, redundancy on CSM has worked fine. The fact that you have to more or less manually configure and maintain redundancy, which some people bitch a lot, makes me wonder... 'Yeah, but what about redundancy with HSRP? Or BGP?' > CSM does receive safe-harbor qualifications I think that will stop soon, if it hasn't already.
