Going into feature navigator for the ME6524, is shows 12.2(33)SXH5 as being
available with Virtual Private LAN Services (VPLS) which links to
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios_xr_sw/iosxr_r3.8/mpls/configuration/guid
e/gc38vpls.html as a configuration guide line.

Does that indicate that the ME6524 can indeed be a node?
