Hi, There is an error in the data sheet and in the process of getting fixed. RSP3-400 is only on ASR903 and ASR907. ASR902 will not support RSP3-400. There is another RSP3-200 in the roadmap for Q1CY16 which will support ASR902, ASR903 and ASR907. Wide RSP is for 907 only as mentioned in the post. New IMs 1x100GE CPAK, 8x1/10GE SFP/SFP+ & 2x40GE QSFP will only be supported with RSP3.

However, the form factor of the Cisco ASR 907 RSP engine is different and can currently not be shared across different chassis types.??? So that would indicate that there isn???t yet an RSP3 variant for the ASR902 and ASR903, but that data sheets anticipate that in the future. There is. A900-RSP3C-400-__S__ is for 902/903. A900-RSP3C-400-W is for 907. The difference is to accomodate chassis type, as 907 uses full width slot for RSPs.
