Back in 2022 we purchased 2 9906s with perpetual licenses for "ASR 9000
Traditional Business Model" (SKU=A9K-TRADITIONAL). We recently upgraded
IOS-XR from 7.5.2 to 24.4.2 and when we tried to "call-home" for
licensing we discovered that we now need two extra licenses:
Advance Edge Subscription SIA
Advance Software RTU License (per 100G) for Edge
Cisco and our Gold Partner are still trying to figure out whether we
indeed need new extra licenses but I would like to hear from others
whether they have encountered this issue.
