When you say v11.something and onward, are you referring to CUCM v11.something, 
or Jabber v11.something?

Asking to help me start looking where I find details.

But I swear I had this working on CUCM v9.1 and Jabber v11.something

Sounds like UPN behavior...

This comes as part of the default UPN (User Principal Name) behavior 
(v11.something and onward) of the user logged into the Windows PC.

You can turn it off with a command line switch during installation but for the 
time being, a cache reset/clear on the client will open up the username field, 
but it will force the UPN again.

longer, even with a reset. It defaults back to the user I had earlier.

The only recent change is our upgrade from CUCM v9 to CUCM v11.5.  I’m guessing 
that did it, but I’m hoping to find a way out of this.

I’m in the middle of my research right now, but if anyone has a quick link or 
fix to this, that would be great.
