OK here's one off our website -
A truck driver stopped at the bar and by the door saw the sign "Geeks will be shot". A bit suspicious, assuming it a misprinted racist poster, he went in. He ordered his drink and sat by the bar. A bit later on another person came in, an acne-riddled pale and thin man with one of those multi-pocket jackets stuffed with pens, rulers, mini-screwdrivers, etc. As he walked up the bar, the barman picked up a shotgun and shot him dead. The man was a bit surprised to say the least but decided to keep quiet and just finish his drink. When the barman offered him a refill, he asked what the shooting was all about. "The sign was quite clear" the barman said. "Geeks will be shot. Don't you know it's open season this month in this state?" Nervously the man asked "I am a truck driver delivering a load of routers. I hope that does not make me a geek?" "No. We like truck drivers. You're always welcome here". Later on in the night, cruising along a lonely highway, a tire burst and he fought to keep control of the truck as it slewed off the road and side-swiped a tree. The back doors burst open and several routers fell out. After a few seconds, t he driver thought he ought to do something and at least get the router boxes back in the truck. Looking in his mirror, he was amazed to see out of nowhere, lots of scrawny geeks emerging out of the dark and helping themselves to the routers. Angry at this, he remembered it was open season and fired off a few shots. Just then a state patrol car appeared, lights flashing, and drew up. The cop got out and walked over. The driver a bit nervously said "I was only trying to protect my cargo and anyway, it is open season on geeks isn't it?" "That's no problem fella," said the cop, adding after a pause "but you're not supposed to use bait."
