NetStumbler is good for "War Driving" and finding potential customers. And you don't have to hack or access someones network to do it. When you approach a potential customer that has an open access point, all that needs to be said is that you were doing a site survey for another customer in the area, building, etc. From the survey, you identified their system, and the appliaction also detected the lack of security.
I think this is closer to driving down the street to see who leaves their doors open, rather than going to each house and seeing which closed doors are unlocked.
