Thank you for the prompt response.

If  I install the private part on my desktop  - or even on a USB 
device, using a server simulator such as EasyPHP or Xoop will that 
still work? The desktop would be connected to the net only for the 
time period when I am managing the accounts.

Your help is greatly appreciated.
