You bet. It's probably not stamped, although it looks it. I would guess 
it is moulded and then has flashing removed using a warding file to 
clean up the piercings, before being gold plated. But it is definitely 
mass produced, I would guess Birmingham or London, and the picture on 
mine shows a couple, one playing a veille or hurdy-gurdy, the other a 
side-flute, in early 18th century dress. I'll bet the original painting 
or drawing the rose copies is a French pastoral one, because the veille 
was not widely used in Britain.
