yea, it works for me too after i put the \newpage before \end{CJK}. thanks. *sighs* if only i had written to the list earlier ;[. in any case, what is the difference between CJK and CJKutf8? (i tried \usepackage{CJKutf8} but the package was not found) in addition, why did placing a \newpage before \end{CJK} fix the problem? is it for the same reason as Werner explained in the previous thread (a regarding INDEX)?
