Dear Jeff Zhang,
I find a strange thing, when I use the *binary* of pdftex you sent to me,
if I run the command fmtutil-sys --all in the dir
"/usr/local/texlive/2005/texmf/web2c/", I will get a right message; other
than this dir, when I run the same command, more error messages will be
given.
Why does this happen?
As a result, now, indeed I can generate the pdf file by pdflatex with ttf
embedded in it.What a subtle thing it is! Sigh!
