You can do more than that. If a judge tells you or someone else that
their Cavalier should be trimmed, immediately report the judge to the
AKC representative at the show. You need to jump on these judges
promptly, and not just refuse to show under them the next time. It's
like clicker training a dog -- if you click too late, you've re-enforced
the wrong behaviour. Also, e-mail Marilyn Mayfield the judge's name,
what he said, to whom, when, and where. She is compiling a list.
