Thanks so much for your reply.  I am not totally in the dark.  About 20 years
ago I use to show Old English Sheepdogs and Bichons.  I just know from that
experience that there are a lot of tricks that everyone does and that aren't
really a secret.  I got out of OES mainly because the breed has gotten so far
away from the natural look.  All that hair teasing , etc., is not my vision
of what an OES should be.

I have a 2 year old CKCS that is not show quality.  He is way too big and his
coat is quite curly.  There are just a lot of things in specific to CKCS that
I don't know.  A lot I will learn from the breeder.  I am just anxious to
pick up all the knowledge I can as soon as I can.  Like is there a trick to
getting the hair to lay flat or is that just natural? Do you cut off the
whiskers and long hairs around the eyes?  I keep hearing contradictory things
about stacking the dog (some say you do and some say you don't).
