<What I meant was - in half the time.>>.
I'm sure the coats are wonderful for some people and some dogs but I don't
necessarily want to do them "in half the time".......... my dogs have
different coat textures and stages of growth, some shedding, some growing
new coats, so I dry them differently depending on the individual dog. Only
in a very rare instance to I need to assist the coat to lay flat !.
Sometimes if a dog is "between" coats, then I like to brush the wrong way
when drying to give the coat a bit of volume. And I quite like it when
there are the odd hairs being slightly wayward - not untidy - but just
natural looking!
But most importantly, the time spent with the dog on the table drying is a
combination of training (to stand etc) and most importantly a time I can
spend "one on one" with the dog. - without sharing with the others - a
special time for each dog.. I really enjoy this time and I'm sure the dogs
do too. I don't want to hurry it along -
