Well now Glenn, that's another thing altogether.  No, I do not count calories but
I do check dogs' waistlines and rib covering regularly.  Two dogs of exactly the
same size and breed can have vastly different needs in food.One may gain weight by
just sniffing the food :-) while another may eat 10% of its body weight daily and
be just right.  Metabolisms differ and so does the need for food.
All I can say is get used to running your hands over the dogs daily.  You must be
able to feel the ribs without having to dig through layers of fat.
