Dear Peggy,
I've seen testicles take as long as 6 months to come down naturally. At 8
weeks, he is too young to throw in the towel. If it is a special puppy, give
him at least 6 months. However, the testes are normally down on the majority
of males by about 12 weeks.
All the best,
Susan Cochran

Subject: [CKCS-L] no testicles!
I have an 8 week old puppy who got his first vaccination and microchip
yesterday and a health check. Everything checked out just great.......
except the vet couldn't feel ANY testicles! Is there any remote chance that
they'll come or is he now destined to become a beautiful pet???? Naturally
I had planned on keeping this little fellow - he was a singleton, and the
last possible puppy from a very special boy.
