One more "trick". Give him a nice warm, deep bath. While he's in the water
and as he becomes relaxed then "feel" for them..sometimes that warm sleepy
feeling lets the testicles drop.
And a story..many years ago a friend of mine was trying to decide whether or
not to bring a beautiful blenheim dog over from England. She actually went
over to see the dog twice and each time there were no testicles..the breeder
said they had been down and had gone back up several times. (I've had this
happen...call it bouncing balls.)
Finally my friend decided to bring the brother over (did I mention they were
11 months old?). The brother was nice but not as nice as...
Clara made her choice brought the dog over. A week later the brother was
sold to a Finnish woman who was more relaxed about the problem..(this was
also in the days when you could buy a beautiful Cavalier for 120 pounds) and
within hours! no kidding the testicles dropped and the dog went on to win
BIS..all breed and to sire many beautiful Cavaliers.
My friends dog hurt his back on an ice flow in the St Lawrence river..the
owner was afraid it could be an inherited and withdrew him from stud.
moral of the story..don't be hasty.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my question about the missing testicles.
I understand that not all vets are equal, but my vet is also a breeder and
I believe she knows what she's looking for. Of course, she breeds a large
breed, but she's always found the testicles in past male puppies and in some
cases, there has only been one in evidence. Anyway, I'll wait awhile on
this little guy, but I've also had some breeder friends "feel" him too, and
no one has been able to find anything. That was my concern when I took him
to the vet.......that no one else had been able to find them, but I figured
the vet was more experienced and if they were there, she'd know.
