This is quite true. I've been doing some volunteer work entering newspaper ads
(dogs for sale) into a national database. It's incredibly sad to read these ads
week after week. The ones that are advertised as "AKC" always go for a higher
amount. They probably weren't bred under any different circumstances than those
being offered for $15, 25, 50+ (or free), but because they have "papers" that
supposedly
makes them more valuable/better bred, etc. And *most* of the dogs Iisted in the
newspaper
ARE advertised as AKC.
