Why is it so hard to fight big business and puppy mills?
They are organized and united in the effort to make money.
The Cavalier fancy......

The information comes to the list from someone to try to inform people so
they can be aware and if they desire take action, write the AKC whatever.
We can't even agree on who the enemy is?
The AKC?
PETA?
Lucky Star?
Each other?
It took less then 24 hrs to turn the thread against each other.
And we definately are not united.
AKC vs CKCSC
Health Nazi's vs Small Gene Pool
Wholecolors vs Parti's
Veterans vs newbies
Breeders vs pet owners
and it goes on and on and on.
Some are too busy posturing trying to pretend they are someone important
while others only pop off of their snooty private lists long enough to
advertise numbers of champions to keep up puppy sales. Others will post
whatever opinion the long time breeder supports (after all they may want a
puppy from them one day)
I believe there really is a large core group who care about the Cavaliers
more then anything else. But this is definately going to be an uphill battle
until we get our own houses in order. And the puppy millers are probably
laughing at us. They certainly don't fear us.
