I wanted to add...
In any system...ask questions!!!
An example of a guestion is..."how many retinal folds can be present and
still be identified as cleared for breeding within a system".
Different systems have different definitions of "cleared". Many things are
not universal. Always compared the "clear" to the system you are gearing
your breeding program with.
This is not a criticism of any specific system or country...just a reminder
to breeders to ask questions of what "cleared" references and what is the
exact criteria for that statement...sometime it is not "apples to apples".
BUT that does not mean the "orange" is sour...
