I would not take a litter off mom if it was just one distressed
puppy and the others are fine. I always use benebac for healthy puppies and
it is my first response when there is any deviation from the norm. In case
it is colic I would try about 10 drops of Fletchers Castoria, making sure the
puppy swallows well after each drop. My main concern would be that it was
too eager a nurser who got milk into the lungs. As soon as a puppy does not
want to nurse and an hour or two has passed, I would
give some amoxicillin, JUST IN CASE he is starting to develop pneumonia. I
always have some powdered amoxi on hand.

That is easier said than done.
Good Luck. Sorry I did not read this sooner and hope things are already
better today.
