Well, I do guarantee against hereditary defects. If something shows up, I either replace or refund. The refund is pro-rated to the medical costs of the condition and not to exceed the purchase price of the dog.
I can understand your position on guarantees and doing the health testing as you mentioned certainly will reduce the chances of something cropping up. Everybody has their own way of doing things.
