I just wanted to pass on some other information for those that are thinking of starting your dogs on any of these supplements. Glucosamine is an amino sugar and can raise blood sugar levels. Dogs, and people, with diabetes should avoid it. Chondroitin thins the blood. Anyone who takes any blood thinning medication or even those who give their dogs aspirin for arthritis, should not take chondroitin, which can thin the blood further. (or eliminate the aspirin....check with your vet.) Phyllis
