I seem to remember that MSM, while a food like supplement has
characteristics related to DMSO. Perhaps the more educated on this list
can substantiate my poor memory...or not? <G> I dislike DMSO because it
is a "ferrying" agent, one that when applied to the skin takes whatever
is mixed in with it into the body. This has the effect of taking the
good stuff (medicines) along with the bad (who knows.....bacteria, etc)
very quickly into the body systemically.
Before any rush to judgment on MSM, I may be wrong about its
relationship to DMSO. I do know that DMSO was used on arthritic animals
for years and continues to so be used.
