A reputable breeder can get her point across by explicitly stating the
important points of her breeding stock such as, "OFA certified, CERF'd,
patellas, heart-cleared." ...

Well,  "vet-checked, shots, wormed" will actually have some reassuring
meaning to an uneducated buyer, it speaks of things they understand and can
relate to; whereas sadly "OFA certified, CERF'd, patellas,
heart-cleared"  is completely meaningless jargon to the uninitiated, and
therein lies your problem... you are just preaching to the converted.
