A Cavalier breeder that advertises in the newpaper can pretty much count on destroying their reputation on a national, if not international, basis in about 24 to 48 hours....
Hilarie, I had to respond to this. I have had all of six litters in six years for a total of 20 puppies--every time CH bred to CH and both fully tested (OFA, heart, and eyes). I have kept a couple and most the others were spoken for ahead of time. However, one time I did put an ad in the local newspaper (even though nothing was going to be available from that litter) because of where I live, hoping to hear from some people I could educate here in puppy mill country. Am I now ruined "nationally and internationally"?
