My experience has been two ties is ideal. One, if timed right will give you a litter, two seems to maximize the number of get. Three however seems to put almost a week's time between the first conceived and the last. Not much for humans, but a significant difference in dogs with their 9 week terms. You may have more get but I have found a higher mortality, incidence of puppies born dead or not fully developed. Have always bred every other day. Steve Wallis.
