This is almost certainly corneal dystrophy!  Almost any regular vet can
correctly diagnose this.  I doubt it is anything to get *excited* about.
Corneal dystrophy is pretty much meaningless and can go away as suddenly as
it came.  It is likely to be somewhat diet related.

It is very common Cavaliers.  At one eye clinic last March the
ophthalmologist saw about 10 or 12 of my Cavaliers (both owned by me or
owned by pet people or other show breeders) and none of them had corneal
dystrophy.  He mentioned that it was VERY unusual to see more than 3 or 4
Cavaliers without seeing at least one case of corneal dystrophy.
