I found this response interesting to say the least. One of the things that has always bothered me about the lists, not only this one, is that people ask health questions of us, most of whom are not vets and who have never seen the dog, know it's history, etc. Then they get answers from well meaning people who really have no knowledge of the dogs problem. I find this most worrisome. the very best advice I think that any of us can give to a person asking a question via e mail is to go to a veterinarian specialist who can physically see and examine the dog. I truley hope, for her sake and for the dogs sake that this is a fatty deposit and doesn't turn out to be something more serious.
I don't believe I ever questioned her devotion to her dogs or her intellect. It is certainly no problem to me what she does and I hope it doesn't turn out to be a problem for her. I guess if we don't get the answers we want to hear to questions we ask, we get to write rude e mails.
