Maureen, many Cavaliers including my Rufus, have small whitish opaque spots on their eyes which are "fatty" deposits and are quite harmless. Scary (and a bit unsightly) but harmless, and they don't affect their vision; and they sometimes disappear of their own accord. Go back to the vet, or phone them, to confirm this.
