That is what I'm starting to do.  On boy puppies who have unusually healthy
parents MVD-wise, that are VERY nice--typey, structurally correct and great
personality--but are maybe much too lightly marked or too heavily marked,
too big, a couple of face freckles too many to be competitve or something
*minor* wrong or maybe one that has it all--very typey, good structure and
movement, wonderful head but is slightly undershot (in other words top show
potential except for that one *little* thing)--I will look for homes that
are willing to keep the puppy whole as this may be a puppy that could
potentially be very important down the road.
