Other than the legal requirement by state - is rabies vaccination necessary? I have re thought my vaccination schedule and now only immunize for distemper and parvo. Am considering not giving rabies at all to the dogs I keep here.......is this prudent? I would like feedback from others. I live in basically a city environment - dogs are in my backyard - never on the street, but we do go to shows periodically. thank you.
