Hello all:

I am very taken with the "old" Staffordshire dogs, but there are so many
reproductions and copies, how is one to know if the pair is truly old (over
100 years) or a newer copy.
There may be some of you who are not familiar with these charming dogs so
here is the <A HREF="http://www.essex1.com/people/fishnet/history.html";>
History</A>.

If anyone can explain to me how to tell the difference, I would be very
grateful. I know about a couple of things to look for, but even "fakes" can
have these.

Merry Christmas and Happy holidays to you all.
