Hello all: I am very taken with the "old" Staffordshire dogs, but there are so many reproductions and copies, how is one to know if the pair is truly old (over 100 years) or a newer copy. There may be some of you who are not familiar with these charming dogs so here is the History.
If anyone can explain to me how to tell the difference, I would be very grateful. I know about a couple of things to look for, but even "fakes" can have these. Merry Christmas and Happy holidays to you all.
