Marilyn, The really old Staffordshire dogs that I have seen in reputable antique shops run upwards of $895.-$5,000. The name is printed on the bottom. I would love to collect them myself but for now have all reproductions. Hope this helps. Maybe Santa will bring you one if you hint to him.
