Katy, Glucoflex is a product that is sold for arthritic joints in older dogs. It is a homeopathic thing made from green mussels. According to our reproduction specialist, when people put their old boys on Glucoflex for their joint problems, they discovered that it also had the side effect of increasing sperm production, quality and motility. The older boys starting siring litters again. Her recommendation to us has been to keep our boys on Glucoflex 600 mg per day for three months and to back down to 300 mg. a day after that. I honestly do not know if it has done anything or not. The last three litters sired by our boys were litters of 9, 8 and 8. Of course, I know that the dam has a certain number of eggs to fertilize and that the boys have no control over this, but we also put our girls on the Glucoflex as well. So, I wouldn't want to say that it works, but I would also be the last person in the world to say that it doesn't work. It is available through Foster and Smith and is quite inexpensive. Myra Savant
