I honestly don't see how it could possibly hurt anyone. It really is just made from green mussel, so I felt safe starting my breeding age dogs on it as soon as the vet told me about it. We have an old collie girl named Ruffie in our elder care facility and her mobility has increased significantly since we put her on four Glucoflex tabs per day. We try to start our girls on it about 3-4 months before we plan a breeding for them, but the boys stay on it all the time. Myra Savant
