I don't use Glycoflex for the same reason that Myra is suggesting, but it is really wonderful for anyone who has a dog with arthritis. Dinah has used it for two years, and has responded extremely well to it. After being on it for about two weeks, it just made a tremendous difference in her quality of life. She was actually running again! I have found that KV Vet has the best prices, www.kvvet.com, and I buy the 300 mg. tablets. It is similar to glucosamine/chondroitin, but is quite a bit less expensive. My vet suggested it for Dinah. The KV Vet website has more information about it.
